Privacy Notice

The final notice will identify the MakoAngel operating entity as the data fiduciary/controller, its registered contact details and its appointed grievance contact. Questions may currently be directed to security@makoangel.com.

Depending on use, MakoAngel may collect account and contact details, email-verification status, role and organization membership, profile data, subscription and billing references, listing contributions, messages, diligence activity, support communications, device and session information, security events and consent records.

• Do not upload government identifiers, financial account credentials, payment-card data, health data or unrelated personal records unless a specific protected workflow lawfully requires them.
• Sellers must remove unnecessary personal data from listing and diligence documents.
• Payment providers should process card or bank credentials directly; MakoAngel should retain only limited transaction references.

Data may be used to provide and secure accounts, verify contact points, manage roles and organizations, operate marketplace workflows, moderate content, facilitate requested communications, administer plans, prevent fraud, investigate incidents, comply with law and improve the service.

Where consent is relied upon, it should be specific, informed and capable of withdrawal. Other processing bases and legitimate uses must be confirmed for each operating jurisdiction before launch.

Information may be shared with infrastructure, email, security, analytics, support and payment providers under appropriate contracts; with organization administrators according to workspace permissions; with other users when the user chooses to publish or disclose it; and with authorities where lawfully required.

A global platform may process data across borders. The final notice will identify material processor locations and applicable transfer safeguards.

Data should be retained only for the period needed for the stated purpose, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Retention schedules will distinguish account records, messages, audit logs, listing data, diligence data and billing records.

Safeguards include access controls, session protection, encryption in transit, password hashing, logging and least-privilege design. No system can promise absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, completion, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal or nomination rights, and may challenge certain automated or marketing uses if introduced.

Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request. Some records may be retained where law or legitimate security needs require it.

MakoAngel is intended for adults with legal capacity and is not designed for children. The production registration flow must enforce the finalized age threshold.

Material changes will be communicated appropriately. The final notice will include the appointed grievance officer and any regulator or appeal path required by law.
